New Group Exercise Classes

More Looking for a group exercise class to join? Fitness and Wellness at the ARC added two new classes to their group exercise winter schedule. Join a cycle class that begins February 11 and takes place on Saturdays, 9:30–10:15 a.m. Interested in kickboxing? Try Cardio KBX on Tuesdays from 6:15–7:15 p.m. beginning February 14. IM SPORTS TABLE TENNIS TOURNAMENT

More The Intramural Sports Table Tennis Tournament is right around the corner. The tournament will take place 9 a.m. to 9 p.m. on Saturday, February 25 in the ARC MAC. Two divisions are offered in the tournament: Singles A and B, or Doubles A and B. Participants may register for one singles team and one doubles team. Registration is from February 13 to 17, 10 a.m.–5 pm. The registration fee is $10 per team. Team up and begin practicing for your chance to win a spot on the Wall of Fame.

TAKE A TRIP WITH OUTDOOR ADVENTURES

More Outdoor Adventures offers a variety of classes during winter quarter. Go Yosemite car camping from February 18–20. This distinctive trip combines the comforts of car-camping in Yosemite Valley and day snowshoeing to points of interest. Visit El Cap meadows for breath-taking views of the valley, go to Mirror Lake and see Half-Dome at it's finest, or just hang-out around Yosemite Village and sip hot chocolate. Outdoor Adventure provides transportation, group camping gear, snowshoes, and campsite. AQUATICS IS HIRING FOR SUMMER

YOUTH PROGRAMS OFFERS INTERNSHIP CREDIT AND COMPETITIVE WAGES

More Campus Rec has extended the application deadline to apply for Youth Programs counselor positions. This summer, have fun with kids while doing activities you love. Youth Programs is hiring counselors and instructors for the following areas: theater, dance, sports, outdoor adventures, band, craft, cooking, leadership, education, and general recreation. LEARN TO RIDE WITH THE EQUESTRIAN CENTER

More This Winter, learn to ride with the Equestrian Center’s group lessons. Learn the fundamentals of horseback riding and good horsemanship in Introduction to Riding. In Riding 101, improve your horseback riding techniques and learn to ride at faster gaits while practicing safe riding skills. Whether you’ve been meaning to learn to ride for a while, or are looking for something new to experience this winter, the Equestrian Center group lessons offer a great introduction to horseback riding skills and basics.
