REGISTRATION METHODS

In-Person Registration:
Register in-person at the Equestrian Center Main Office from 10 a.m.-3 p.m.

Phone Registration:   Call the Equestrian Center at 530.752.2372 to verify class availability. You may then register with VISA or MasterCard.

SPRING REGISTRATION:
Student priority registration begins Monday, March 31 and Tuesday, April 1, from 10 a.m.-10 p.m. with a valid student registration card. Regular registration for everyone begins Wednesday, April 2 at 10 a.m. and will continue after that date until the classes are full, or until classes begin.


  • What Happens If Your Lesson Doesn't Fill?

    If enrollment is under three riders, the class becomes a Private or Semi-Private lesson. If two riders have enrolled, their class is considered “Semi-Private” and includes five lessons. If one rider is enrolled, his or her class is considered Private and includes four lessons. The EQC will contact you prior to the start of lessons to inform you if your lesson has become Private or Semi-Private.

    A cancellation fee will be charged when a participant drops a class.  No refunds after the first week of class.  See policy on your enrollment email. 

    No refunds for lessons which have been scheduled.

    Group Lesson Make-Up Policy:

    NO make-ups are given unless ALL of the following criteria are met:

    1)  Student provides written medical excuse from their doctor.
    2)  Horses are available.
    3)  Classes are not full.
    4)  Lesson must be made up within the same quarter.

    If all of the above criteria can be met, the student may have a make-up lesson.  The Administrative Assistant must first be notified before a make-up lesson can be scheduled. 

    Cancellation Policy:
    1)  If a student does not show up for a group lesson, and does not call in advance, for ANY reason, the student then forfeits that lesson, no exceptions.
    2)  If a student calls in advance, the above make-up policy applies, no exceptions.
    3)  No refunds are given for cancellations once group lessons have begun for that quarter.

    Weather Day Policy:
    Students who do not show up due to extreme heat or rain forfeit the lesson unless the lesson is cancelled by their instructor, no exceptions. 

    Rather than canceling the lesson, unmounted lessons are held in cases of extreme weather conditions.  Only one unmounted lesson per quarter will take place due to these conditions.  After the first unmounted lesson, if weather forces the EQC to cancel the lesson, the lesson will be made up at the end of the quarter, on the same day and at the same time as the regularly scheduled lesson.
