BALLET: ALL LEVEL
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 6–7 p.m.
Instructor: Christa Ogier
Class Fee: $25/Summer Session
Class will introduce beginning
techniques of ballet. This class will
cover objectives of warming up, learn
and review basic ballet terminology,
and integrate technique into simple
dance combinations with proper body
positioning. Tight clothes and socks
required (tights, leotard, and ballet shoes
optional).
HIP HOP: ALL LEVEL
Day/Time: Tuesdays, 7–8 p.m.
Instructor: Rommel Aguil
Class Fee: $25 /Summer Session
This class will provide you with the
basic fundamentals of hip hop, drawing from some of the hottest new moves as seen
in today's music videos and hip-hop
culture. Students will feel the music
more with use of their entire body and
the choreography will allow students to
find and use their own unique style and
attitude that will be influenced by the hip
hop music.
BELLY DANCE: ALL LEVEL
Day/Time: Mondays, 7–8 p.m.
Instructor: Crystal Berger
Class Fee: $25 /Summer Session
This class will focus on muscle isolation, increasing flexibility and
building core strength. Besides getting a great workout, you will learn a
hot and sassy choreography to an Egyptian drum solo.
FREESTYLE DANCE: ALL LEVEL
Day/Time: Thursdays, 6–7 p.m.
Instructor: Daniel Kwan
Class Fee: $25 /Summer Session
In this class, the instructor will show you how to hone your skills at dancing and a new way of tuning into the music. In this freedom, FREESTYLING is a free art form of dancing in which isn't built on "moves" or "sets" but a creative process of exploring movement, music, and your personal relationship between dance and sound. Out from this course, it is guaranteed that you will be a better dancer overall as you will gain insight on dancing musicality and skills that will eventually help you develop your own dance style. This class is hip hop orientated but not exclusive to hip hop dances. Gym clothes and sweatpants highly recommended
