Welcome to the world of martial arts at Campus Recreation. Our program offers martial art forms from all across the world, including techniques developed in China, Japan and Korea. In addition, our programs offer everything from self-defense, fitness, cultural immersion and coordination, to just name a few. Take advantage of one of our programs, or take advantage of all of them with the Martial Arts Pro Pass. The Pro Pass allows unlimited access to all of our programs for the price of two. Martial arts help you improve fitness and self-confidence while introducing natural and spiritual practices.

All classes are in the ARC Martial Arts room unless noted otherwise.

TAE KUK MU SUL
Dates: Tuesdays and Thursdays 8:30 - 10 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 12 - Saturday, Mar. 15
Fees: $42
Location: ARC Martial Arts Room

Tae Kuk Mu Sul is a traditional form of Korean martial arts. This art focuses on striking, falling, pressure points, joint locks, throws, breathing and weapons. Through practice, students can gain greater balance, self-control, and intimate knowledge of self-defense. And for those who have the drive to achieve more, come strive for you black belt. Come learn this exciting new style under the Grandmaster of the system! Instructor: Grandmaster Suk Ku Kim.

HAPKIDO
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays 5 - 6:30 p.m.
Sunday, Jan. 12 - Saturday, Mar. 15

Hapkido is a Korean martial art; a combat art geared for self-defense on the streets. Hapkido specializes in joint locks, throws, pressure points and submission techniques, kicking and strikes. Learn to harness your body energy (chi) to defend yourself from any attacker and maintain a healthy lifestyle through exercise, creating a unity between the mind, body, and spirit. Come learn this versatile self-defense system that you can take with you anywhere. *Uniform required. Instructor: Sa-bu-nim Bob Sarason.

JUDO
Dates: Mondays and Wednesdays 8:30 - 10 p.m.

Judo is a world-renowned system of self-defense, Olympic sport and traditional martial. Our Judo consists of the basic techniques of falling, throwing and grappling. Women and men of all sizes are encouraged to try this dynamic sport and discover the principles, techniques and spirit of this popular martial art. *Uniform Required.  Instructor: Sensei Harry Kendall
