Grades 6-12, Session Lengths Vary

Youth courses include hands-on instruction in specific program areas as well as carefully selected and physically active tasks to focus attention on team dynamics, personal capabilities, and strategies for problem solving. Courses are typically small in size in order to maintain a low instructor to student ratio. Youth instructor/guide qualifications include Wilderness First Aid, CPR, and course specific training from a credible program or extensive guiding experience. A few scholarships for water-based programs are available through the California Department of Boating and Waterways. Please contact the Youth Programs staff at 530.752.2955 for all inquires.
