Campus Recreation offers American Red Cross Lifeguarding Review courses for individuals currently certified in American Red Cross Lifeguarding. This course reviews information and allows practice of skills and knowledge before testing. Current certification in Red Cross Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED is required to participate in the review course. Students who successfully complete this course will receive a certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED which is valid for 2 years.

Prerequisites: Possess a current American Red Cross certificate for Lifeguarding/First Aid/CPR/AED. Participants must show proof of current certification prior to or at the start of the class.
Participants must be able to complete the prerequisite swimming skills required to complete the American Red Cross Lifeguarding course, pass the written examination with 80% or better in both sections, and successfully demonstrate competency in all required skills.
Course check-in will be at Hickey Pool. Participants must bring a swimsuit, towel and pocket mask to class.
