Nutrition Philosophy

Pursuing a healthy lifestyle is more important than controlling the number on the scale. Having a well- balanced diet and adequate physical activity should be a life- time goal.

Hey there, this is Zona! I am a fourth- year international undergraduate at UC Davis. Growing up as a dancer in China, I always concerned about how to stay in shape while having a healthy diet at the same time. I am fascinated with the variety of food in my country as well as in the United States. While enjoying the art of cooking, there are lots of misunderstanding between being healthy and stay in certain body shape. Thus, I am majored in clinical nutrition at UC Davis and I minored in Communication to be a better nutrition counselor. I think it is important to have a healthy relationship with your body and the food you eat. My ultimate goal is to be a registered dietitian specialize in eating disorders.
