Fitness Philosophy

I believe in a balanced approach to fitness and wellness for the individual. When one has balance in their health, it promotes balance in other aspects of everyday life. My goal is to promote the health of my clients both inside of the gym and outside of it via functional training, stability, and perseverance. 

Background

My name is Nicole Cartwright, and I’m a UC Davis alumni who grew up in Vacaville. I have had a lifelong love for exercise; I was a competitive powerlifter in high school, then a yogi, and now a full-time fitness professional. My interests lie in nutrition, exercise physiology, and their associated behaviors, and my goal is to spend my life helping people find balance between these aspects of health. Balance in one’s own life starts from small changes that eventually affect the larger whole; this philosophy can be easily applied to exercise and the body. I can help you begin the journey to find this balance for yourself, and I look forward to getting to know you and supporting you along the way.
