Each year in early to mid-September, the band convenes for a week of fun and rehearsals to prepare for the upcoming season. When you attend the preseason retreat held on campus at UC Davis, you'll learn or improve your high-step marching technique, start learning the music and drill for the pregame and halftime shows, participate in leadership and team-building activities, and meet the friends you'll keep for the rest of your life—all before orientation!

On-Campus Housing for Preseason Retreat
Incoming students are able to move into their on-campus housing early to attend the preseason retreat with an additional fee paid directly to the housing office. More information about early move-in is provided each summer.
