Racquetball Challenge

Campus Recreation's Activities and Recreation Center is offering a program that enables racquetball players to meet new opponents and compete against each other. The Racquetball Challenge is an informal competition that participants sign up for through the ARC.
Participants compete against each other in the challenge, scheduling games on their own time. New players may join the ladder at any time, and enter at the bottom of their chosen skill group. They then work their way up as they challenge others one or two positions above their own ranking. The winner of the game is then ranked higher in the challenge. Ultimately, the goal is to reach the top ranking.
"The Racquetball Challenge is a good way to meet other people," says Coulson Thomas, Assistant Director of Informal Recreation. "It helps participants to improve their game, and will help improve the community as people get to know each other through the challenge."
Participation in The Racquetball Challenge is open to all ARC members. The program is continuous and no formal registration is required. Interested participants are encouraged to sign up at The Activities and Recreation Center, or by emailing arc@campusrec.ucdavis.edu with a subject of "racquetball ladder."
