Retirees Park Free

The UC Davis campus encourages retired staff and faculty to remain active within the campus community and interact with colleagues and students. Former UC Davis faculty and staff, identified by the campus Benefits Office as officially retired, are eligible for a Retiree (RT) Permit 30 days following their retirement date. Retirees may visit the TAPS office to request an RT permit, and should be prepared to present their annuitant card and driver’s license as identification. For more info, visit the TAPS website.

Try the Comet from TAPS

Frequent visitors to the ARC who drive and don't have a UC Davis parking permit may consider the Comet from TAPS. The Comet is your personal parking meter. It comes preloaded with up to 100 hours of parking time and is good in any visitor or meter space on campus. Park for as long as you want (within posted time limits) and pay only for the time you use to the second. To purchase a Comet, or for information, visit the TAPS website.

For any further questions concerning parking, please contact Transportation and Parking Services.
