The facility is open all year-round to boarders and visitors during the below times. There are barn supervisor staff onsite during open hours to care for the horses and are also available to answer questions regarding horse care and offer assistance.

Equestrian Center Facility Hours:

The facility is open all year-round to boarders and visitors during the below times. There are barn supervisor staff onsite during open hours to care for the horses and are also available to answer questions regarding horse care and offer assistance.

Monday–Friday: 7 a.m.–9 p.m.
Weekends: 7:30 a.m.–8 p.m.

There will be no changes to facility hours during Summer Break

Modified Facility Hours 2024:

November 28th - 29th, 2024: 7:30am - 1pm & 4pm – 7pm
December 23rd, 2024 – January 1st, 2025: 7:30am - 1pm & 4pm – 7pm
Facility will be closed 1pm – 4pm. Gates will be shut and no entry to EQC will be allowed between that time so please plan accordingly. 

The Main Office will be closed 12/24/24-1/1/25 so any emails sent to equestriancenter@campusrec.ucdavis.edu will be answered after January 1st.

The Main Office student staff (Equestrian Admin Assistants) are onsite and the below times and is available to answers emails and phone calls about general inquiries and billing. The best way to reach us is through our email. Emails and voicemails will be answered within 1-2 business days.

Driving Directions

You can find us on any Maps app under "UC Davis Equestrian Center". Our address is 1 Equestrian Lane, Davis, CA.

From Garrod Dr, we are down a dirt road. There will be a sign at our gated entrance. Visitors should check in at the Barn Supervisor Office in the "Main Barn" if they have any questions.

Parking

On-Site Parking

Free Parking is available on site at the Equestrian Center (EQC) for staff, boarders, lesson participants and visitors. Overnight parking is only available for resident staff and horse trailers. Check in with the office if you need to park your horse trailer.

EQC Parking Policies

Parking is free in Equestrian Center's parking lot unless there is a special event. Notices will be posted at the gate if a Event Parking fee is in effect. Our parking area is only available to individuals visiting the EQC or participating in our activities. Our parking is limited so it is not available for off-site activities or non-EQC activities. When parking at the Equestrian Center, do not block pathways or gates. There are many riders, horses and cyclists on our roads so please drive slowly and carefully when entering our facility. Long term horse trailer parking is permitted for students only.

Aggie Park App

There are multiple parking lots and street parking available on campus. You can easily pay for parking through Aggie Park via the AMP Park app. For more information on Aggie Park, please visit https://taps.ucdavis.edu/aggiepark. The closest parking area to the Equestrian Center is street parking along Garrod Rd and Lot #55.
