Personal Training Packages
 

Initial Training Package (new clients)

Purchase

This all-inclusive service provides you with an overview of your current fitness levels and helps kickstart your wellness goals. The package includes the following:

  • Initial consultation and fitness assessment (75 minutes)
  • One training session (60 minutes)
  • Dietary analysis (60 minutes)

Fee: $100 

After purchasing an inital training package (single or buddy), download the intake packet below and send the completed forms to livingwell@campusrec.ucdavis.edu with proof of purchase. We will contact you to schedule an intake consultation and connect you with one of our certified personal trainers.

Returning Client Package

If you wish to resume your personal training outdoors, please email us and include your trainer's name. Our office staff is working remotely during this time to schedule sessions with trainers.

Clients must purchase and complete the initial training package before purchasing returning client packages.

  • One session: $55 
  • Three sessions: $145 
  • Five sessions: $230 
  • 10 sessions: $440 
  • 20 sessions: $855

Initial Training Buddy Package

  • One training session (60 minutes w/ buddy)
  • Dietary analysis (60 minutes per person)

Fee: $135

Returning Client Buddy Packages 

Clients must purchase and complete the initial training package before purchasing buddy personal training packages.

  • One session: $65 
  • Three sessions: $155 
  • Five sessions: $240 
  • 10 sessions: $450 
  • 20 sessions: $865 

*It is asked that clientele represent themselves as having similar goals.

Personal Training Drop-In Sessions

We are not currently offering personal training drop-in sessions.

Cancellations due to inclement weather

Our outdoor exercise programs are subject to cancellation due to inclement weather or poor air quality. Any cancellations will be announced via e-mail the morning of. Session cancellations due to inclement weather are not deducted from your training package.

Fitness Testing

Fitness Testing Services

Living Well offers several services to help you assess your fitness levels. All services are available to all UC Davis faculty, staff and students.

Body Composition

Get an individualized body composition profile from a certified personal trainer.  Each 15-minute session includes an electrical bio-impedance measurement to help you progress toward your fitness goals. After purchasing your session online, please visit the Living Well office to set up an appointment. 

Winter quarter dates and times:  

  • Tuesday, January 14 from 12–2 p.m.
  • Thursday, January 30from  10 a.m.–12 p.m.
  • Wednesday, February 12 from 5:30–7:30 p.m.
  • Monday, February 24 from 4–6 p.m.

Fee: $5

Fitness Assessment

Let our certified personal trainers evaluate your present fitness level and provide you with general guidelines to help reach your goals. This service includes measurements for resting heart rate and blood pressure, height and weight, body composition (using bioelectric impedance), cardiovascular endurance, muscular endurance, and flexibility. After purchasing your session online, please visit the Living Well office to set up an appointment.

Nutrition Consultation

Our nutrition staff is here to help check out your daily diet, review your wellness goals and make recommendations. After purchasing your session online, please visit the Living Well office to set up an appointment.

Custom Fitness Training

What is Custom Fitness Training?

Are you involved with a department or club on campus and interested in creating a fun and interactive environment for your group? Are you a coach looking for new and creative forms of cross-training for your team during the off-season? Our team of group exercise instructors and personal trainers can develop a personalized, safe and fun program for your group whether you need a one-time class or a month-long training program. 

Who Can Benefit

  • Intercollegiate Athletics (ICA) and Sport Clubs
  • SPAC student groups
  • Student clubs and organizations
  • Sororities and fraternities
  • Campus departments or offices on a regular basis or as a team-building event
  • Resident advisors for your dorm floor or dorm building
  • Special event coordinators (pre-season training, workshops, conferences, seminars)
  • Teaching assistants: provide “active” office hours

Fees

UC Davis student group: $60 (ARC) | $70 (off-site)
Non-UC Davis student group: $80 plus day pass fees (ARC) | $100 (off-site)

Registration

To sign up, please return your completed request form at least two weeks prior to the requested date. Custom fitness classes are dependent on both instructor and space availability.
