Bio
- Unit/program: Outdoor Adventures
- What are your favorite recreation activities? I enjoy climbing, hiking and backpacking and I play in an adult league of Australian Rules Football.
- Why UC Davis? I have a passion for guiding in the wilderness, especially training new guides. I work hard to ensure that people have a safe and fun experience, that barriers are addressed and limited and that they want to come back to nature and keep exploring. Outdoor Adventures is doing great work in enabling access and meeting needs and it is an honor to join the team and help the program grow. I am excited to be a part of the trips and rock wall programs as they expand and offer more programming. UC Davis also has a great mission and message that I align with, so I can come as I am and enjoy what I do.
- Where did you go to school? I went to Appalachian State University in NC for my undergrad and worked for the Outdoor Program, then I got a Masters at Southern Oregon University in OR for Outdoor Education.
