Wellness Philosophy

My wellness philosophy is focused on continuous improvement, regardless of the speed. To me, it doesn't matter if I'm unable to reach the goals I've set as long as I've seen some improvement from one day to another. Even if it's just a 1% increase that day, overtime these 1% increments of improvement build up, creating long lasting improvements. As a trainer, I believe it's my responsibility to instill this belief into my clients, helping them to recognize and celebrate every small victory they get. I want to emphasize consistency, accountability, and short-term goal setting for my clients in order to help them build sustainable habits that will carry them to their long term goals.

Background

Hey! My name is Jason Luangrath and I am an undergraduate Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior student. I first started working out in the Fall of 2021, beginning with bodyweight movements like push-ups, pull-ups, and squats. To this day I stick with these movements, but I've applied my wellness philosophy to slowly increase the amount of weight I add to them. As I learned more about fitness, I began to fall in love with the process. My goal is to spread my knowledge and help those who come to me achieve whatever goals they have, whether it be a first pull-up, first push-up, or anything in between.
