Wellness Philosophy

Wellness is about persistence towards your goals by finding everyday routines that you love. It’s about showing up for yourself in little ways to improve not only your physical health, from function to strength to longevity, but also your mental health which is equally as important. Wellness also means listening to your body and slowing down to rest and recover. It’s important to emphasize balance to ensure consistency, importance, and ultimately improvement. Together we will create wellness routines to adhere to your lifestyle and goals.

Background

It’s nice to meet you! My name is Katherine and I major in communications here at UCD! I was involved in numerous sports from a young age; my favorites were volleyball and softball. I also grew a passion for weightlifting while training as an athlete. I gained confidence from my strength as I continued to lift through college. Now I find enjoyment from a plethora of activities in addition to lifting like indoor cycling, running, team sports, and swimming.
