Maintenance workers are responsible for the upkeep and fixing of equipment for Campus Recreation, specifically for the ARC and Competitive Sports. Working for maintenance is an entry-level job that is critical to the smooth operation of the recreation departments. Pay is $12.25 per hour.
Recorders are part of the Competitive Sports division of Campus Recreation. They are responsible for most of the administrative paperwork and documentation for Sport Clubs and input all Rec Sports information into the department database. This is an entry-level position that is necessary for Competitive Sports to function. Pay is $12.25 per hour
Rec Sports Official (Referee)
Rec Sports officials are responsible for the set up and take down of Intramural fields and courts. They enforce the rules of the game and maintain a safe and fun environment for students and community members to enjoy sports. They are the first impression of Intramurals for many participants and thus are held to a high standard in regards to professionalism. This is an entry-level job that, based on performance, can lead to opportunities for promotion. Pay is $12.25 per hour.
Competitive Sports Supervisor
Supervisors are present at every Sport Club practice, game, tournament and home event as well as all Rec Sports games. They are responsible for ensuring that all Sport Club participants have filled out the proper forms before practicing and for supervising/managing the Rec Sports officials during Rec Sports shifts. Supervisors are also responsible for risk management and act as first responders in the event of an injury. Pay is $12.50 per hour
Competitive Sports Manager
In addition to all the duties of a supervisor, managers are the liason between their assigned sport clubs and the Sport Club office and assist the teams in ensuring that everything that needs to be done to function as a legitimate club, gets done. On the Rec Sports side, managers are responsible for the training, hiring and scheduling of Rec Sports officials. Pay is $13 per hour.
Competitive Sports Recorder Manager
Recorder Managers are the liason between their assigned sport clubs and the Sport Club office and assist the teams in ensuring that everything that needs to be done to function as a legitimate club, gets done. They are also responsible for the training, hiring and scheduling of Recorders. Pay is $13 per hour.
