The Sport Clubs Advisory Council is a committee of current Sport Clubs members that serves as representation for all of the Sport Clubs teams. The Advisory Council works with the Sport Clubs Administration in shaping the future of the Sport Clubs program.

The Advisory Council is responsible for making recommendations to the Sport Clubs Administration regarding policies related to the operation of the program. They evaluate and review budget requests and advise the Sport Clubs Administration in the annual financial allocation to clubs. The Advisory Council is also responsible for evaluating and reviewing requests for new club memberships as well as responding to questions and issues concerning Sport Clubs. The Council assists Sport Clubs with putting on the annual Sport Clubs Banquet in May.

Council Membership Requirements

  1. Any UC Davis student who is an active member of a Sport Club may apply for a position on the Advisory Council.

  2. Each member must be able to attend all meetings during each quarter (anticipate one each quarter for 1 hour)

  3. Each member must be able to serve for the remainder of the 2024-2025 school year.

  4. Only one member of a particular Sport Club may apply for a position on the Advisory Council.

  5. Appointments to the Advisory Council will be made after each applicant has submitted an application.

  6. Applicants should be energized and enthusiastic about the Sport Clubs program.

  7. Members MUST be available for all Sport Clubs Budget Presentations May 5-7 @ 4-9 PM (dates may change to March)

Applications will be due Friday October 25 by end of day.
