Description: Campus Recreation professional staff is hosting our inaugural Campus Recreation Student Staff Career Day designed to provide a wide range of information and assistance to student staff about how to adequately prepare themselves to enter the workforce. This event will take place in a condensed, conference-like format, with students able to pick and choose which topics they prefer to learn more about during each allotted time block. 

Topics Include: 

  • Detailed Resume/CV & Cover Letter Review
  • Interview preparation and practice
  • What are Employers looking for?
  • What should YOU be looking for?
  • Professional Correspondence
  • Evaluating and Negotiating a Job Offer

Itinerary:

  • 8:30am-8:55am: Check-In
  • 9am-9:25am: Welcome and Keynote Address
  • 9:30am-10:20: First Block
  • 10:30am-11:20am: Second Block
  • 11:30am-12:20am: Third Block
  • 12:30pm-12:45pm: Closing Announcements
  • 12:46pm-1pm: End
