Wellness Philosophy

Wellness consists of mental, emotional, and physical aspects. Anyone can start their path to wellness at any time. Whether you choose to lift weights or engage in another form of exercise, gaining confidence and feeling great about yourself through these activities are one of the key factors to achieving wellness. Everyone should have the chance to discover exercises and movements that they enjoy while feeling proud of themselves.

Background 

Hi! I’m Cindy, an undergraduate student studying Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior. My wellness journey began when I joined track and field in high school. I saw how my everyday movements affected my athletic performance, sparking my interest in discovering ways to help improve my performance. Through running track, I was introduced to lifting weights and immediately fell in love with it. I gained confidence through weight training and running because I noticed the different movements that my body was capable of doing. My passion for helping others stems from the experience and knowledge I’ve gained from running track to help my friends and family improve their daily movements. Exercise provides an opportunity to challenge ourselves and find ways to improve our lives. As your personal trainer, I believe in pushing to be the best version of yourself.
