Nutrition Philosophy
Nutrition is a way of living, a route of sustainability, and treating one’s body holistically with the essential nutrients that the body needs to grow and thrive. Nutrition is the encompassing of how one nourishes their body, respects it, and is a natural form of preventative medicine that can bring healing to individuals’ bodies.
Background
Hi everyone! My name is Audrey, and what primarily got me interested in nutrition, was the applicable connections between food and fitness training and sports in terms of performance. My love for nutrition grew in their 8th grade when I realized how amazing my body felt when I nourished and took care of it through the food I consumed. I have grown to love nourishing my body with a large variety of foods as my love for fitness has grown within my experience here at UC Davis.
Specialties
I have knowledge in a variety of nutrition fields primarily including sports nutrition, and wellness nutrition. In addition, I have a strong passion for Pediatric Nutrition.
Interests
My personal hobbies include working out, running, hanging out with those that I care about, and trying out new cooking recipes!
Education
I am currently a fourth year majoring in Clinical Nutrition. I have aspirations of attending a Master’s program post graduation in order to become a Pediatric Dietitian.
