Wellness Philosophy

Wellness consists of the positive choices we make to take one step forward into a balanced and healthy lifestyle. It pertains to multiple factors including our physical and mental health. I believe that achieving wellness is achieving a sense of fulfillment in our daily habits whether it be exercise, nutrition, or rest. Wellness keeps one goal in mind: an improved quality of life no matter the stage one is in. 

Background

Hi! I’m Calvin, an undergraduate student (Class of 2025) studying Managerial Economics. Exercise has consistently been a fulfilling part of my life for as long as I can remember. Growing up, it’s always been about competitive sports (especially basketball!). However, towards the end of high school and coming into college, I wanted to take my play to the next level by being introduced to strength training. Doing so helped me fall in love with powerlifting and bodybuilding! Although being really good at competitive sports is not my top priority anymore, I’ve found a new joy in weightlifting and especially in bringing those around me to the same sense of joy and fulfillment wherever they feel called.
