students discussing nutrition services

Nutrition Services

Nutrition Services (Healthy Aggies) provide sound nutrition information through participation in campus events like the UC Davis Farmers Market with education and food tasting, Aggie Compass nutrition drop-in hours, ARC nutrition drop-in hours and by invitation in events hosted by campus partners.

We believe in advocating for healthy habits and living the most whole and balanced life possible during college and beyond.

Meet Our Nutrition Counselors

Nutrition Peer Counselors are senior clinical nutrition students at UC Davis.  Classwork includes nutrition assessment, motivational counseling, and dietary requirements for various age groups.  Your counselor can help you simplify your life around food and cooking, help you set goals and take one step at a time towards the final habits you’re looking to incorporate for a lifetime of health.

Nutrition Consultation

Do you have questions about general nutrition? Our nutrition peer counselors are here to help! Sit down with our counselors for a remote Nutrition Consultation. If you aren't sure what to eat, how much to eat, or how to bump up your energy with food, our nutrition staff can talk with you about meeting your nutrition and overall health goals.

In your consultation, you will be able to ask any questions you have regarding nutrition. You also have the option to complete a food frequency form. Our staff will then give you personal nutrition advice to improve your diet based on this form. Peer Counselors are not able to give dietary advice for medical conditions.

Fill out the food frequency form and/or pick a counselor to get started. Please contact the Living Well center at livewell@campusrec.ucdavis.edu to schedule your appointment.
