Wellness Philosophy
I think that wellness looks different for everyone. To me, wellness looks like making an effort each day to work towards being the best version of yourself, whether that is physically, mentally, emotionally, or all of the above. When striving to be the best version of yourself, you should never compare yourself to others because everyone’s journey looks completely different. Each day is an opportunity to work towards whatever wellness looks and feels like for you.
Background
Hi! My name Gianna and I am an undergrad student here at UC Davis majoring in Clinical Nutrition. My passion for health and wellness stems from my background in CrossFit and Olympic Weightlifting, starting when my dad opened a CrossFit gym when I was 4 years old. I used to compete in CrossFit until the age of 18, which is when I made the switch to Olympic Weightlifting. I got my CrossFit Level 1 trainers certificate at age 17 and began coaching CrossFit at age 18 because I wanted to share my love for wellness with others. Additionally, I wanted to help others find the same confidence that weightlifting brought into my life. My goal as a personal trainer is to help you find a type of movement you love that also makes you feel good!
