Wellness Philosophy
I believe wellness is about feeling good and doing what’s right for you. That means wellness looks different for everyone, and your goals - whether they relate to your health, your strength, your aspirations, how you feel, or some combination of all these - are unique to you. I believe that training with these specific goals in mind provides the intrinsic motivation that helps you thrive for yourself, not for anyone else’s vision of “wellness”. As a personal trainer, I aim to personalize each workout towards those specific goals and help you work towards whatever wellness may mean to you.
Background
Hi! I’m Lia and I’m a third year at UC Davis with a major in Nutrition. My passion for wellness stems from my experience as a competitive dancer. I started dancing at the age of five, and, through dance, was introduced to many of my still-favorite strengthening, conditioning, and flexibility exercises. While I have always enjoyed working out, I became particularly passionate about wellness my junior year of high school when the Covid pandemic halted most aspects of daily life. I had extra time to work out and fell in love with the process of designing my workouts, not only with their outcome. As a trainer, I strive to help you not only achieve your goals but also enjoy the process along the way.
