Wellness Philosophy

Wellness is about balance in all aspects of life. I believe there is no one key to wellness, but rather a combination of healthy and positive practices. Every person may have different goals, but at the root of it all is the pursuit of a happy, healthy, and fulfilling life. Achieving this involves nurturing physical, mental, and emotional well-being. Through small, achievable steps and engaging in enjoyable, safe activities, anyone can make progress towards their personal wellness goals. As a trainer, my aim is to assist you in discovering activities you love that contribute to improved energy levels, enhanced mental clarity, and increased emotional resilience. 

 

Background

Hey! I’m Max and I’m a fourth year student from San Diego. I am majoring in managerial economics and double minoring in accounting and statistics. I am also on the Club Ice Hockey Team here at Davis. Growing up, I was involved in many recreational sports. It wasn’t until high school where I really started to find my passion and focus on pursuing hockey and running cross country/track competitively. I continued to play these sports until school was canceled due to the pandemic. During this time, I developed a passion for weightlifting and strength training that carried to my everyday life. I loved the feeling of pushing myself mentally and physically. Since then, I have continued to stay active and find new ways to challenge myself. My goal is to empower clients to become the best versions of themselves while having fun throughout this process.
