The UC Davis Marching Band is happy to announce the return of their bi-annual event: The 2020 UC Davis Band Day! This event will take place on TBD at the home football game against the TBD. Band Day gives your high school band an opportunity to be fully immersed in the college band experience. Our student-led organization is truly one of a kind, and provides an example for yours students about what is possible in the university setting!
Features of Band Day
- Rehearsal prior to the game
- Free admission for the members of your band to a college football game
- A chance to perform in a halftime performance with the UC Davis Marching Band on the UC Davis Health Stadium Field.
- Sitting with the Marching Band during the game and cheering on the Aggies in their home opener football game
- A post game performance with the UC Davis Marching Band!
Sample Itinerary*
- 1 p.m. – Rehearsal in UC Davis Health Stadium
- 3 p.m. – End of rehearsal - ARC Ballroom will be designated area for lunch
- 4:30 p.m. – Performance from the UCDMB in the ballroom
- 5:10 p.m. – All bands head to the stadium, high schools split off and enter through the south entrance, UCDMB plays for tailgating
- 6:00 p.m. – Kickoff! Cheer on the Aggies to a victory
- 7:30 p.m. – Halftime! Perform on the UC Davis Health Stadium field.
- 9:00 p.m. – Optional Post-game performance with the UCDMB outside the stadium
