Wellness Philosophy
My idea of wellness lines up very closely with the ARC's motto, "Come as you are." I believe it is never too late to start your wellness journey and become a better you. I believe in listening to your body and doing what makes you feel good. We only ever get one body, so why not take care of it? As a trainer, I plan on finding creative ways to reach your goals and make sure you are not only improving yourself, but also having a good time while doing it.

Background
Hi! My name is Matthew and I am a first year NPB (Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior) student. I was always active as a kid but in high school I found my passion for volleyball and that has been my main sport ever since. I have been weightlifting since I got to Davis and am always open to learning new things about the gym. I have been injured numerous times in the past and would not wish that experience on anyone, so it is one of my focuses to build a strong foundation to proactively prevent any injuries from happening to you.
