Wellness Philosophy
My idea of wellness lines up very closely with the ARC's motto, "Come as you are." I believe it is never too late to start your wellness journey and become a better you. I believe in listening to your body and doing what makes you feel good. We only ever get one body, so why not take care of it? As a trainer, I plan to find creative ways to reach your goals, focus on improving how you move every day, and have a good time while doing it.

Background
Hello, my name is Matthew and I am an undergraduate student here at UC Davis studying NPB(Neurobiology, Physiology, and Behavior)! I have always been active throughout my life but really found a passion for physical activity through volleyball. I have been weightlifting since I got to Davis and am always open to learning new things about the gym. I know what it is like to be injured, so it is one of my focuses to build a strong foundation so that you can move about your daily life smoothly and worry-free.
