Hi, I’m Haley! I’m from the East Bay Area and have been studying Clinical Nutrition here at UC Davis for the past four years but have been interested in nutrition for about six. Growing up, I was surrounded by examples of both healthy and unhealthy lifestyles. As a result of seeing how detrimental an unhealthy one can be, I slowly became more interested in learning how to utilize fitness and nutrition in order to live a healthy lifestyle myself. Since then, I have transitioned to a plant-based diet and developed a passion for teaching other people how to improve their lives using nutrition as well. I’ve also become interested in the mental health aspect of wellness and would love to work with people with eating disorders in the future. My ultimate goal is to become a registered dietitian in a hospital and help people suffering from chronic diseases such as diabetes.
