Fitness Philosophy

Fitness is a formative lifestyle that impacts and encompasses
many of the other areas of our life. Through building routines and habits, our fitness
journeys can allow us to strive towards a healthier physical, mental and emotional state
of mind. When we are able to achieve a healthier outlook and confidence in our own
capabilities, we are able to use our fitness journey to help raise up other areas of our
life. Starting with fundamentals, we can build solid foundations and progress to our
fitness goals in an efficient and sustainable way. With applications of scientifically
accurate and proven research on health and fitness, we are able to separate false
information which allow us to achieve our goals as efficiently as possible. While working
out plays a large part in our health and fitness goals, I believe that our nutrition and
recovery are also major pillars that support our health and fitness journey. However, our
enjoyment of our fitness journeys is the most important aspect of it all, and finding that
enjoyment will allow us to achieve sustainability and adherence to achieve our goals.

Background

I have over 8 years of competitive Golf experience against the highest
ranking amateurs in the United States. I have competed in various Golf organizations
and won the 2017 CIF (California interscholastic Federation) Central Coast Division
Title for the first time in men’s golf since my highschool was founded in 1956. I have
trained since 2016 in the areas of Powerlifting, bodybuilding and endurance
conditioning, as well as leading as the president in the Aggie Health and Fitness Club at
UC Davis since 2018.
 

Personal Interests
  • I love to go Snowboarding and trying new restaurants I’ve never been to before!
  • I love to play various sports and to go hiking!
  • I enjoy doing Art and digital animation in my free time!
