This class covers the foundational techniques of handbuilding, including pinch pots, coils, and slabs in addition to the firing process and glazing. It is ideal for beginners or anyone who is missing getting their hands on clay in this unprecedented time. The class will be held synchronously but remolety over Zoom during its scheduled times. Most materials will be provided and can be picked up during designated times that we will send out closer to the start of class, but we are asking participants to source their own rolling pin or dowel, large, flat work surface, and organic fabric to cover the work surface.
