ARC Reservation System Update
Given the progress California has made in slowing the spread of COVID-19, we are excited to announce some welcome changes to our ARC operations effective Monday, June 21:
- Reservations are no longer needed to visit the ARC facility.
- The ARC hours of operation will run continuously without 30-minute closure periods.
- Cardio and strength equipment that is currently on the floor will be brought back online for use.
In the next coming month, Member Services will be working with our equipment vendors to bring back equipment that has been in storage, prepping the equipment room for small equipment checkout, preparing the squash/racquetball courts for use, and bringing the wellness studios back online for informal use. Please be patient with us during this transition, as there are many steps to account for.
NOTE: Proper face coverings and approved daily symptom surveys will still be required when utilizing the facility. Please keep in mind that these current changes are only in place for the ARC. We will share further updates for both the ARC and Rec Pool in July as things continue to progress.
We encourage you to continue to wash/sanitize your hands frequently, clean equipment before and after use, and partake in regular COVID-19 testing. If you have any questions or concerns please contact us at memberservices@campusrec.ucdavis.edu.
