Aggies at Home Esports Competition

  • Info: 

    • We invite all UC Davis students and Campus Recreation members to participate in our Aggies At Home Esports Competition! The Esports competition features various console and PC games including solo and team competition levels with prizes for winners in each competition

  • Registration Dates:

  • Fees:

    • All players must purchase a $5 Rec Sports ONE Pass in order to participate. Financial assistance available to purchase your ONE Pass by filling out this FEE WAIVER application. 

  • Games Offered:

    • League of Legends - (PC; 5v5)
    • FIFA 20 (PS4 and Xbox; 1v1)
    • Madden 20 (PS4 and Xbox; 1v1)
    • NBA 2K20 (PS4 and Xbox; 1v1)
    • Super Smash Bros Ultimate (Nintendo Switch; 1v1)
    • COD Modern Warfare: Warzone (Cross compatible on PC, PS4, and XBox;  3v3 Teams or individual); FREE Game
    • COD Modern Warfare: Search & Destroy (Cross compatible on PC, PS4, and XBox;  4v4 or 6v6 teams); Paid Version
    • Rocket League (Cross-compatible on PC, PS4,and XBox;  2v2, 3v3); FREE Game

  • League Info:

    • League of Legends and our 3 sports games will be offered as a league format.

  • Schedule:

    • Week One October 24-25. Games: League of Legends 5v5 -Oct 24 &25 | COD Warzone 3v3-Oct 24 | Super Smash Bros Ultimate-1pm Oct 24 & 25 |  Rocket League 3v3-6pm Oct 24. Registration opens October 14 at 9 a.m. and closes October 23 at 11:59 p.m.

    • Week Two October 31-November 1: Games: FIFA 20-Nov 1 at 12 pm | Madden 20-Oct 31 | NBA 2K20-Oct 31 at 12pm | COD Search and Destroy 6v6-Oct 31. Registration opens at 11 a.m. on Oct 28 and closes at 11:59 p.m. the night before the tournament.

Aggies at Home Fun Run/Walk

  • Info: 

    • We invite all UC Davis students and Campus Recreation members to participate in our Aggies At Home Fun Run/Walk! This event will feature various distances from 5K to a half marathon, including a new walkers competition,  and will feature leagues in recreational and competitive levels, with prizes for winners in each category.

    • All players must purchase a $5 Rec Sports ONE Pass in order to participate. Financial assistance available to purchase your ONE Pass by filling out this FEE WAIVER application. 

  • Races Offered:

    • 5K Recreational
    • 5K Competitive
    • 10K Recreational
      o    Option for team of two people
    • 10K Competitive 
    • Half Marathon Recreational
      o    Up to four members per team
    • Half Marathon Competitive
      o    Up to three members per team
    • NEW: Walkers competition

  • Divisions Offered:

    • Recreational division: This division is for less experienced individuals who may not have run before or those who want to try to improve their running times. This division is focused on improvement and getting started in the running world.
    • Competitive division: The competitive division is for individuals who run frequently, are highly skilled in running, and want the competitive aspect of running.
    • Teams: The fun run will also feature a team component for our half marathon. Members will combine their distances to achieve the total race distance.

Aggies at Home Trivia Competition

  • Info:

    • We invite all UC Davis students and Campus Recreation members to participate in our Aggies At Home Trivia Competition! The trivia competition will feature weekly quizzes with top qualifiers moving on to our championship round. Prizes will also be awarded for top trivia winners.

Aggies at Home Social Media Challenge

  • Info:

    • We invite all UC Davis students and Campus Recreation members to participate in our Aggies At Home Social Media Challenge! The competition will feature challenges via Social Media, in categories such as best cosutme, trick shot, etc. Prizes will also be awarded for top winners.

    • This will be a FREE event to participate

  • Schedule:

    • Challenge One Nov 4: Best Halloween Costume
    • Challenge Two Nov 11: Best Sunset Picture
    • Challenge Three Nov 18: Best Trickshot
      • Submit a short video of your best trickshot! Trickshots can be anything, from basketball shots to tossing a ping-pong ball in a cup. Be as creative as you want!
    • Challenge Four Dec 2:  Caption This!
      • Submit your best caption idea for the picture below! Be as creative as you want!
      • Picture will be posted on Rec Sports Facebook page and the Google form for submissions
    • Challenge Five Dec 9: Best Picture with an Egghead
      • Submit a picture of yourself with one of the UC Davis Eggheads! If you are not on campus, no worries- be as creative as you want! As long as there is an egghead somewhere in the picture, it will be accepted.
