How to Make a Reservation at the ARC

Online Reservation System

Prior to entry, patrons will need to complete the UC Davis Daily Symptom Survey. The survey asks yes/no questions regarding your possible COVID-19 exposure. You are required to cancel your reservation if you experience any symptoms related to COVID-19 before your reservation.

Picnic Day at the Craft Center

Hello everyone! Just a reminder that Picnic Day is this Saturday and that the Craft Center will be holding a live stream here on Facebook from 12-3pm! Our 8 managers will each be teaching another manager how to make something in their studio. What will our ceramics manager do in the wood studio? Can our glass manager learn how to make rings out of coins? Tune in to find out!

 

The Craft Center will be closed for studio use on this day.

Craft Center Update

We are now open to faculty and staff with prior experience and studio orientations! As usual, please complete the Daily Symptom Survey prior to coming in and have the confirmation page ready to show the manager on shift.

ARC Returns to Operation April 19

ARC Return to Operation Announcement

Please see below for an update on our plan to return to in-person operations at the ARC as Yolo County transitions into red tier status.

We hope to safely open and provide priority access to undergraduate and graduate students starting on April 19 with the following reduced hours: 

Monday–Friday: 5:00 p.m.–10:30 p.m.
Saturday–Sunday: 1:00 p.m.–6:30 p.m.

Craft Center Indoor Studio Space

The Craft Center will be offering open studio space for students, faculty, and staff with a preexisting orientation during spring quarter. All studios will be open from 9:30 a.m.–5:30 p.m. Reservations are $14/day or $70/quarter and can be booked online starting March 29th.

Watch the UC Davis Craft Center Textiles manager sew live in real time! Olivia will be streaming the process of her latest project on Facebook Live, Friday afternoons at 4 from the Craft Center Sewing studio.
